Dawn Jernigan, a proud US Air Force veteran, has been helping clients succeed online since 1996. With a degree in Commercial Art and Graphic Design, it was awesome to move into the new media of the "world wide web." Shortly after designing an increbily awesome award-winning healthcare technology website, the reality sunk in with Dawn that a business website was only as good as the business goals it achieved.
That epiphany sparked a hunger to learn more about how to market websites to achieve business goals. For those in the industry, Dawn was cutting her teeth on digital marketing the same time as some of the greats such as Danny Sullivan. An early adapter, before there were ANY college degrees offered in "Analytics or Digital Marketing" Dawn was one of the first 100 individuals to complete certification as in Web Analytics through the joint venture of the Digital Analytics Association and the University of British Columbia. The "rest of the world" caught up soon after :-)
After spending a few years in the pharmaceutical, medical, healthcare and biotech industry Dawn had a second major epiphany - with her knowledge and skills she could work for herself, be her own boss, make more money AND be true to her personal code of conduct, ethics and integrity. The business side of internet marketing too often chooses to paint gray shades where there is either black or white and Dawn has always been an honest, upfront straight-shooter. There is something incredibly rewarding in being able to maintain honesty and integrity in all areas of your life. If you have to lie to keep a client, you either don't deserve that client or they don't deserve you.After 20 years of success Dawn has chosen to evolve the business into a consultancy and work with a few small - medium businesses and select pro bono non-profits that are a good fit.
